Pas de mise a jours des softwares

Bonjour

je ne pense pas avoir trouvé de problèmes équivalents.

Nous utilisons OCS depuis quelque temps pour l'inventaire de notre parc.

Mais je remarque sur une poignée de Pcs que l'agent ne met pas à jour les informations software.

Par exemple, prenons un Pc avec une version de Google Chrome 38.
Une GPO met a jour le soft en version 39. Nous avons vérifié directement sur le Pc, il s'est bien installé.
Dans Ocsreports, le version est toujours 38 (même après plusieurs jours voir semaines)
La date de "Last Contact" est bien à aujourd'hui (ou très récente). Mais la date de "Last inventory" est beaucoup plus vieille malgré la MAJ de Google Chrome et autre entre temps.

Petites précisions supplémentaires. Quand je lance l'inventaire en manuel, les informations remontent bien. Y comprend la bonne version de Chrome. Et bien sûr le "Last Inventory est à la même date que le "Last contact"

Est ce que quelqu'un a déjà rencontré (et surtout résolu ;) ) un problème similaire ?

How to add bios.assettag field to the main display column.

Hi folks,

I've set up a script to put our ASSET numbers into the machines bios and OCSinventory correctly picks this up in the bios.assettag field in the database.

I'd like to have that as a selectable column in the main computer display.

Wondering if you can tell me if this is possible and how to go about it?

Failing that, I could use the default TAG field if it could be set to mirror the bios.assettag field.

I know I could write a perl or PHP script that ran from cron and just mirrrored bios.assettag into accountinfo.TAG but there must be a better way of doing this?

 

I'm thinking the answer is to add g(26) to the $default_fields array somewhere in ms_all_computers.php but when I tried it stopped updating the page so I'm a bit lost.

Basically I want to first column to show up on visu_computers to be the bios.assettag or g(218)

can anyone give me any quick pointers?

Update: I added ASSETTAG LIKE % in a search and it added ASSETTAG to the list of my users, but I'd like it to be part of the default list for everyone.  I've tried browsing the DB looking for a list of default items but no luck.

Import Inventory numbers as Administrative data

Hello,

Few months ago I installed OCS and deployed agents to all computers in our company.

Recently we added Inventory numbers to whole company inventory. Is there any option to import those inventory numbers from Excel/CSV/whatever to OCS as Administrative data or however.

Bonjour,

Je souhaiterais savoir comment modifier les colonnes par défaut lorsqu'on clique sur le bouton pour afficher tous les ordinateurs. Je souhaiterai en effet personnaliser l'affichage.

J'ai vu qu'il fallait peut être modifier le fichier ms_all_computers.php mais je ne sais pas quoi exactement ou peut être un autre fichier.

IP Address of Clients shows Blank Frequently on Web Page

Hi All,

I have setup OCS Inventory server 2.1 on Centos server 6.5 64bit OS. All the details is coming to my OCS server properly except IP Address of Client Machines.

Majority of my client is running with ocsinventory-agent-2.1.1-1. below is my configuration file ocsinventory-agent.cfg.

Currently i am monitoring three subnet as mentioned below.

OCS_SERVER_IP = 10.0.0.218 (Inside DMZ)

1st subnet = 10.0.0.0 (Inside DMZ)

2nd subnet = 10.0.1.0 (Inside DMZ)

3rd subnet = 10.0.5.0 (Inside DMZ)

4th subnet = 192.168.1.0 (Outside DMZ)

When i execute manually "/usr/sbin/ocsinventory-agent" command the IP address of server gets displayed in "IP address" column. but after some time when other servers sends their inventory the ip addresses of earlier servers gets vanished from the column. it keeps vanished until i execute "/usr/sbin/ocsinventory-agent" command manually.

I have manually set a cronjobs for every 6 hours on clients to send inventory to server. when those crons gets runs even at that time IP address column shows blank but i can see in "Last inventory" column that inventory is just now.

Please guide me on the issue as i have tried almost all things but unable to find issue.

Below is my Client side debug log file is very big please also let me know how can i share it as attachement.

Doubts about agentless, remote control and managing license

Hello,

I am thinking to install ocs-inventory in my department. I have some doubts, if anyone can help me I would appreciate.

I want to know if is possible do inventory agentless with wmi or is necessary to install one agent in every computer.

Also, I am interested in remote control, is neccesary to install teamviewer or ocs-inventory have one tool for this.

Is it possible do software and hardware inventory with agents? Have it some tools for managing software license?

Hi !

We have OCS 2.1.2 on one Linux server, with 1300 Windows clients spread on 50 subnets.

This new server is deployed on sept 2014.

From this date, on the pc we are deploying OCS Agent 2.1.1.

Now we have 1250 pc with the latest Agent, the other pcs using still OCS Agent 2.0.4 ( INI file updated, pointing to the new server ).

In the last days we found 65 duplicated pc : same hostname, different IP address :

SELECT IPADDR, name FROM hardware GROUP BY IPADDR HAVING COUNT( IPADDR ) >= 2 order by name

In the server config, AUTO_DUPLICATE_LVL is "hostname, serial, MAC address".

We changed none of these parameters on the clients.

So why does OCS create duplicate records ?

some Microsoft updates missing in software overview

Hy - i searched for a microsoft update through the ocs "search with varios criteria"

I searched for the update KB3046049

The result was that many computers has this update - but some does not have an entry for this update.

So i decided to login on one of those windows 7 computers(with missing updates) - i used the control panel to check if the update really wasn't installed. Curiously the update was installed - ocs just don't shows me the update.

The specific computer showed 157 Software items in OCS - so i decided to uninstall the ocs client (2.05) and reinstalled the same version. After that procedure ocs shows me 515 software items -

 

Question - why this can happen ? over 100 computers affected with this problem.

Software deployment and so forth is working good

 On another computer with missing updates - i just stopped the ocs inventory service, changed the TTO_WAIT in the ocsinventory.ini to  5 seconds and started the service again.

Before 165 Software itemes - after 444 items - this computer is also running for years and was restarted regulary

Curios - on a third computer - just a restart helps - but bevor restart - i checked the upotime - this system was just 3 day up - on this computer the number of software items increases also dramatically.

 On another client (4.)

restart does not help -softwareon server  has only 170 items - but 352 hotfixes are installed.

uninstall ocs client 2.05 does not help

installation of 2.05.3 does not help - software inventory  is incomplete (i deleted the ocs folder with all settings in between)

Perhaps it has something to to with the software dictionary or / and this bug

Bonjour,

Sur l'interface d'administration OCS (connecté en super admin), lorsque je me rend sur l'onglet statistiques, je visualise bien les onglets "Connexion number by day"et "Bad connexion number by day" mais pas l'onglet "OTHER". Cela depuis que j'ai installé le plugin pour les packs Office. J'ai du toucher un fichier de conf qu'il ne fallait pas mais je ne sais plus lequel. Pouvez-vous m'indiquer quel fichier il faut éditer afin de retrouver l'onglet divers?

Bonjour à tous,

j'ai un souci, mon utilisateur "superadmin" n'a plus les droits "superadmin" sur l'interface web, je m'explique :

quand je me logue avec ce compte j'ai un accès seulement administrateur, j'ai lié mon OCS avec mon Active directory il y a assez longtemps, cela vient peut etre de la ? car le groupe de mon ad a les droits administrateur

mais je ne vois pas ce que vient faire mon compte local superadmin la dedans

Avez vous une idée pour redonner les droits à mon compte admin sur l'int web?

Bonjour,

quand j'installe mon agent ocs, via un packager que j'ai crée avec ocspackager, tout se deroule correctement, seulement mon fichier cacert.pem n'est pas copié sur le PC. Avez vous une idée, je fourni le log du client ou l'agent est installé et la conf pour la creation du package, merci de votre aide :

WakONLan "Le certificat ou le mot de passe n'est pas correct"

Bonjour,

Lorsque je veux activer le WakeOnLan sur une machine à partir de l'interface de mon serveur, j'obtiens cette erreur :

"Le certificat ou le mot de passe n'est pas correct=>@MAC/@IP"

Une autre personne a déjà eu ce problème, sans réponse ..

PluginOcsOfficekey not retrieving OEM Licenses, only Standalone

It seems the plugin is only getting standalone Office keys, not the OEM that came installed with the machine.

All the computers above have Microsoft Office 2013:

Any help?

Plugin version: 2.2.4

Server version: 2.0.5 (from Ubuntu 14.04 official repositories)

Agent version: 2.0.5

 

Computers automatically disappearing from OCS Inventory

We are running OCS Inventory NG Server Ver 2.1.2
In Config -> tab Server : AUTO_DUPLICATE_LVL : only macaddress is selected.
In Config -> tab IpDiscover , I think everything is as default.

The problem is that some laptops, that are not able to regularly contact the server (e.g. due to VPN connections), are disappearing all of a sudden from the inventory list, where they had been showing previously.

Which setting(s) could be causing this?

Bonjour,

J'ai effectué une mise à jour des agents de mon parc par GPO. Voici ses paramètres :

/PACKAGER /GPO /DEPLOY=2.1.1.1 /SERVER=http://10.1.100.66/ocsinventory


Un collège m'a notifié un msg d'erreur de la mise à jour par GPO. En vérifiant les logs, je remarque que tout les fichiers n'avaient pas été copié.. Seulement 2 avaient été copié. Problème de temps peut-être ? En effet, une collègue a eu un msg d'errur aussi : 5 fichiers avaient été copiés sur les 7 ! Je me demandais que si j'augementais la valeur du TIMEOUT ce serait mieux ?

  • /TIMEOUT=x (en millisecondes) permet de modifier le timeout de 60 secondes.
